A look back at the EquipHotel 2018 show in Paris

Salon EquipHotel 2018

From the 11th to the 15th November 2018, Sequoiasoft exhibited at EquipHotel in Paris, the major trade show for the hotel-restaurant industry over the last 50 years.

It was the ideal opportunity to come and meet the Sequoiasoft team, and you came in numbers to discover our entire range of software, meeting the needs of every different type of property: WinhôtelResalys neoWinrestau and Nymphéa. But above all, the team got to present ASTERIO, the new solution that's fully web-based, innovative, mobile and secure

Discovering Asterio with the professionals

The latest version of Asterio includes three new features to add to its existing features. The first is the online marketing of your hotel thanks to an online booking engine that your guests can use to book directly through your website.

The software takes on a native channel manager interfaced with Booking.com, which will synchronise your rates and availabilities in real time and automate your offers whichever channel you use.

Finally, Asterio now offers a restaurant module that enables you to create your own floor plan, take orders easily and payments quickly.

How did the EquipHotel show go?

Boris Provost, the new director of EquipHotel, described the event as convivial and dynamic, welcoming all hospitality professionals from France and beyond. A 10% increase was recorded in the number of visitors, which surpassed 110,000. The show brought together the hotel and restaurant world for the benefit of visitors coming to find out about a multitude of products and services.

Numerous events took place during the show, such as the final of the French Sommelier Competition and the 13th edition of the Jean Delaveyne Trophy. Activities were orchestrated by such prestigious names in the hospitality world as Jean-Philippe Nuel, Julie Gauthron, Christophe Gautrand, Benjamin Deshoulières, Marc Hertrich, Nicolas Adnet and many more.
